The School of Biological and Health Systems Engineering (SBHSE) Research Advancement (RA) Team is looking for an individual interested in making a difference in the world by directly supporting researchers who are making globally impactful advances in research and is seeking a career with various opportunities for growth. 

The Research Advancement Administrator position will have the responsibility of assisting Fulton School of Engineering (FSE) faculty with the development, preparation, and submission of sponsored project proposals to various funding agencies. In this role the candidate would not be responsible for technical content, rather they would be supporting faculty in the administrative aspects of proposal development and submission. This position is expected to provide high-level support for the 7 Schools within the FSE. 

The ideal candidate for this position will be someone that enjoys being part of a collaborative team environment directly supporting researchers who are making globally impactful advances in research. The successful individual should have a strong attention to detail, is looking to grow a career in a profession with various opportunities for growth, demonstrates good customer service skills, values continuous improvement, and enjoys problem solving. This position reports to the Research Admin lead of SBHSE. 

Full-TimeASU conducts pre-employment screening for all positions which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, academic credentials, licenses, and certifications. Employment is contingent upon successful passing of the background check.OpenActivities are primarily performed in a regular, climate-controlled office setting subject to extended periods of sitting.Required daily use of desktop computer; bending, stooping, reaching and lifting up to 20 pounds.Ability to clearly communicate effectively to perform essential duties.Ability to work both independently or within a complex structured team.Works from general instructions on standard job duties and specific directions/ instructions on new assignments.Exercises judgment within defined procedures & practices to determine appropriate action.Flexible Work Options

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Three years of experience in a field appropriate to the area/unit of assignment OR Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience from which comparable knowledge, skill and abilities have been achieved.
