Job Overview
The Restaurant Assistant Manager supports the General Manager in the restaurant's day-to-day operations and upholds Burger King’s standards and culture in all areas. The Assistant Manager is also responsible for ensuring an exceptionally run, smooth, and highly efficient shift each day.

Starting pay rate - Up to $18.00 per hour.
Responsibilities
Responsible for shift management, running shift operations, and overseeing team member efforts and activities in order to achieve desired goalsEnsures operational excellence throughout the restaurant by directing Team Members to perform their checklists and other tasks at ever-increasing levels of proficiency and efficiencyCreates the daily setup sheet, defines team member placement, and ensures all team members are completing assigned responsibilities per the positional checklistsProvides attentive and courteous customer service while displaying a continuous positive attitude with guests and employees.Executes operational excellence through speed of service, food quality and order accuracyPerforms all manager on duty checklist responsibilities in opening and/or closing the store each day.Manages cash handling and ensures accuracy in daily, weekly, and monthly inventory as needed.Ensures the cleanliness of the restaurant and that food safety standards are met.Develops and executes plans to achieve sales performance and Brand targets.All other duties as assigned.Required Qualifications
Prior restaurant management experience required.Effective communication skills: listening, verbal and written.Must be 18 years of age or older.Proven excellence in carrying out duties and responsibilitiesDriven, results oriented, and highly knowledgeable of operations strategiesAvailable to work evenings, weekends, and holidaysAbility to work long and/or irregular shifts as needed for proper functioning of the restaurantServsafe food safety and level 2 certification preferred, or ability to quickly obtainTolerance to cold and hot temperatures and work in and around fryers, ovens, grills, coolers, freezers, sharp objects, and loud noises.Reach, grasp, and manipulate objects with hands for an entire shift, including reaching for objects overhead.Push, pull, lift, and carry up to 10 lbs. often and up to 50+ lb. occasionally, including lifting from ground to overhead.Minimum education requirement: High school diploma or equivalentPreferred Qualifications
