Lila’s, an exciting new cocktail bar, is seeking experienced bartenders to join our team. A vibrant new concept coming to the neighborhood of play this spring, Lila’s will be the perfect combination of playfully inspired beverages and cuisine for all ages. Located inside the new Hampton Inn & Suites in the heart of the neighborhood of play, featuring a full bar and covered outdoor patio Lila’s will be the perfect place to enjoy a cocktail and small plates with friends and family alike. Ideal candidates will have experience with craft cocktails as well as advanced beer and wine knowledge, preferably in a high-end and high-volume environment. We are looking to build a dynamic team that has a desire to create a memorable experience for our guests, whether they are guests of the hotel or just stopping in for a drink. Summary
Mix and serve alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks for patrons of bar and restaurant by performing the following duties.
Qualifications

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
+ Perform opening and closing side work per checklists.
+ Greet customers, answer questions, and make suggestions regarding drinks and menu items.
+ Take drink orders from customers or Servers. Prepare cocktails in accordance with standard beverage recipes.
+ Take food orders from guests and submit to kitchen for preparation.
+ Properly record all sales transactions and secure accurate payment.
+ Wash glassware as needed.
+ Familiarize and be knowledgeable of current food and beverage offerings, including wine lists and cocktail menu.
+ Provide current information pertaining to hours and available services of the hotel and surrounding areas.
+ Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of the Lounge and surrounding areas.
+ Assist in checking all fixtures, equipment and conditions (lights, heating/cooling, furniture, wallpaper, etc.) for proper operation, settings and maintenance. Report deficiencies.

Requirements
Availability
Saturday and Sunday availability is amustfor this role. We’re happy to help create the schedule the makes the most sense for you part-time or full-time, but weekend availability will be required for this position.
Education and/or Experience
Three to six months related experience and/or training; One year certificate from college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization. Ability to communicate with others in a clear and professional manner.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Work Environment
While performing the duties of this Job, the associate is occasionally exposed to chemicals and dust. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
