JOB SCOPE: The RGM will oversee a restaurant generating $800,000 - $3,000,000 in revenue and 300 - 1000 daily transactions, ensuring customer satisfaction and profit maximization within company guidelines. The RGM is responsible for all operations and finances of the unit, actively training staff, addressing customer service needs, and modeling desired behaviors. They will provide leadership, motivate the team, and coach for operational excellence. Note: RGMs salary is based on a 50 hour per week, a minimum of 40 hours is required to receive all benefits. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Essential job functions include the following. Other functions may be assigned as business conditions change. Building Your Team: + Recruit and hire top talent, including Team Members and Shift Leads. + Conduct orientation, onboarding, and training plans for new staff. + Train and develop Assistant Managers, Shift Leaders, and Team Members. + Conduct monthly manager meetings, Team Member one-on-ones, and performance appraisals. + Recognize and reward Team Member performance and resolve conflicts promptly. + Manage personnel functions in compliance with employment laws. + Represent the company professionally both on and off the job. + Uphold company standards and demonstrate leadership by maintaining a tidy appearance and punctuality. Driving Customer Satisfaction: + Lead by example in providing positive customer interactions and resolving issues immediately. + Schedule staff effectively to meet customer needs. + Coach the management team on executing customer service standards (e.g., CHAMPS). + Lead product rollout meetings and ensure timely execution of corporate and local marketing programs. + Ensure consistent food quality while maintaining a friendly, courteous, and helpful atmosphere. + Maintain a high degree of energy and drive to meet customer demands. + Take quick, appropriate actions to meet customer needs and resolve operational bottlenecks. Maintain Process and Discipline Around the P&L: + Control profit and loss by managing inventory, labor, and financial performance. + Develop strategies to maximize profitability without compromising the customer experience. + Make quick, appropriate decisions to address operational needs and resolve issues. Safety: + Ensure compliance with OSHA, health codes, and company safety and security policies. + Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance plan for equipment, facility, and grounds. + Promote a secure work environment through safety training and role-modeling safe behaviors. + Prioritize food safety by following Taco Bell standards and procedures. + Perform effectively in a dynamic, minimal-supervision environment. Leadership: + Demonstrate a high degree of energy and drive to meet customer demands. + Communicate effectively with team members and managers in a professional manner, both orally and in writing. + Anticipate service bottlenecks and take action to resolve them. + Lead by example and uphold operational standards at all times. SUPERVISED ROLES Team Members, Shift Leaders, Assistant Managers, Night General Managers Qualifications JOB QUALIFICATIONS + Must be 18 years of age or older + 12 to 18 months of supervisory experience within the food service or retail industry, including profit and loss responsibility required. + Legally authorized to work in the United States. + Available to work flexible hours. + Possess a valid food handler's certificate (can be obtained during employment, depending on state or local requirements). + Must be able to obtain additional food safety certification (on the job) + Ability to analyze and calculate data. + Strong customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills. + Good oral and written communication skills. + Basic business math and accounting skills. + Personal computer literacy required PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands listed below are necessary to perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodation may be made for individuals with disabilities. + Must be able to stand for 10 hours during a shift. + Must be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and carry up to 30 pounds. + Must be able to frequently push and pull up to 20 pounds. + Occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, overhead lifting, and working on ladders are required. + Constant reaching and grasping are required. + Frequent bending, handling, fine manipulation, and keying are required. + Repetitive use of both hands and feet is required.
