Job Description:

As a Restaurant Manager you will provide an exceptional dining experience where guests enjoy the very best of Wegmans. In this role, you will work with a passionate team of people who take exceptional care of our guests. It's the opportunity to combine industry knowledge and experience with the ability to produce a culture of positivity and energy. You will manage and coordinate the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring that guests have a wonderful culinary experience in an inviting, lively atmosphere and one that they will want to come back to.

What will I do?

Maintain a presence on the dining floor and assist in with any tasks while working to grow relationships with guests ensuring that they have received incredible service and a reason to returnAct as a knowledgeable resource on dining operations for the front of the house team and provide coaching, training and coaching as necessary for the teamPartner with the General Manager to ensure the on-going success of the Restaurant and recommend ways to grow revenueEnsure the facility is in good working order and compliant with state and federal laws and regulations, etc.

Required Qualifications

2 or more years of leadership experience in the restaurant, hotel or food services industry or equivalent fieldPassion for food and people with enthusiasm to provide an incredible dining experience Ability to balance providing incredible service with ensuring laws and policiesProficient with Microsoft Office

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced knowledge of food, wine, steps of service and hospitality Introductory Sommelier
