About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a talented Restaurant Manager to join our iconic hotel, Four Seasons Milano in Italy!

What you will do

Reporting into the Director of Food & Beverage, you will be responsible for leading the restaurant operations and its team with passion and creativity; always ensuring exceptional service and attention to detail.

Responsibilities will include:

coordinate and oversee the operations of the restaurant or designated area

setting a positive example by implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving service procedures

Ensure that guests consistently receive professional, courteous, and efficient service, in accordance with established standards and service sequences.

Demonstrate the knowledge and capability to review, adjust, and perform all tasks within the consumption center.

Rigorously adhere to service standards at all times.

Delegate responsibilities to employees and regularly assess their performance.

Remain present in the center during peak occupancy periods to ensure smooth operations.

Operational Oversight: Managing day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring high service standards, and maintaining a seamless guest experience.

Staff Management: Recruiting, training, and supervising restaurant staff to deliver top-notch service. This includes waitstaff, chefs, and bartenders.

Customer Experience: Overseeing guest interactions, resolving complaints, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience.

Financial Management: Managing budgets, controlling expenses, and maximizing profitability through strategic planning and excellent service.

Inventory Control: Managing inventory, ordering supplies, and ensuring that the restaurant runs smoothly without any shortages.

Menu Development: Collaborating with chefs on menu creation and maintaining a balance between innovation and guests' preferences.

Marketing and Promotions: Developing promotional strategies to increase restaurant visibility and guest interest.

What you bring

Fluency in Italian and English is required for this position

A minimum of three (3) years working in Food & Beverage as a department head

Two (2) + years’ experience working within a luxury hotel or similar environment is considered an asset

Requires Knowledge in Micros and Opera System

Requires knowledge of how to operate computer equipment

Excellent interpersonal skills and communication skills

Cross-cultural sensitivity and customer service orientation

Guest centricity and understanding of the importance of guest preferences.

Schedule & Hours:

This position is based at the Four Seasons Hotel Milano.

The candidate must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work all shifts, weekends and holidays. 

You must possess the legal right to work in Italy and have fluency in English and Italian.
