Responsibilities

Where You'll Make an Impact:

Develop and manage the business plan and budget for the restaurant.Responsible for inventory control and ordering supplies, food, and drink necessary to operate the restaurant.Manages areas of responsibility to enhance the gaming experience of guests to Live! Casino & Hotel is becoming the number 1 gaming and entertainment venue in the Mid-Atlantic region.Development of staff to include training, interviewing for hires, conducts disciplinary counseling and performance evaluations.Review staffing levels to maintain a budgeted level of employment.  Delegate authority and assign responsibilities.Review departmental status with Food and Beverage Director.Develop and manage programs and processes to reduce and control loss time injuries.Meets with directors and managers as necessary.Other duties as assigned.

Skills to Help You Succeed:

Ability to analyze and interpret restaurant operational results.Ability to solve complex problems.Knowledge of sanitation laws and health regulations and applicable OSHA regulations.Flexible work schedule. Accuracy in completing assigned duties under pressure and in a timely manner. Qualifications

Must-Haves:

Preferred, five (5) to seven (7) years experience in restaurant management and supervision.Preferred, a four (4)-year degree in related fields or equivalent work experience.Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license.Alcohol Beverage Control cardAny applicable heath certificates

Physical Requirements:

Casino is over 100,000 square feet and requires ability and energy to move about it with a true sense of urgency.Handling, carrying or lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds.Ability to Stand and ability to sit for long periods of time.Use hands and fingers to handle and feel; use hands and arms to reach, legs and feet to balance, stoop, kneel or crouchRegularly utilize sufficient vision or other powers of observation to review documents and computer screens and organize documents and materials.
