Reporting to the Manager, Food & Beverage Quality Assurance, the Restaurant POS / Project Coordinator – F&B is responsible for enhancing the guests’ journey in Food & Beverage outlets. This position is responsible for effective POS (Point of Sale) software and hardware support, programming in the POS database, basic POS help activity, new project planning and oversight, and translates user requirements into functional technical specifications. Other responsibilities include conducting research, processing requests, procurement, developing new strategies, enhancing workflows, and project/program management. The Restaurant POS / Project Coordinator - F&B will play a critical role by leveraging the resources provided by the Food & Beverage department and is the subject matter expert on several core systems assigned to the role.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manages all POS upgrades, product upgrades, implementations/installations, and related F&B Technology projects, including software development.2. Analyzes project requirements and gives input on the use of programs and technology of new development projects with designing, testing, installing, and monitoring of new systems.3. Coordinates w/IT installations, maintains and upgrades all hardware, software, and related IT equipment while ensuring optimal POS performance and F&B Technology, with minimal downtime.4. Provides end user training, resources, and assistance where required.5. Develops and maintains F&B Technology database and all related functionality, performing remote support activity to solve functionality and/or operational issues.6. Ensures that F&B Technology security procedures are implemented, monitored, and enforced.7. Coordination and management of upcoming and current projects. Supports multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously without adversely affecting deadline commitments, serving as the liaison between operations and support partners on projects to ensure efficiency and effective completion of deliverables in a timely manner.8. Oversees documentation, updates, and follow up for all projects, initiatives, and tasks.
EDUCATIONAL, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
Associate’s degree in related field required.
Minimum two (2) year food and beverage experience required.
Related, relevant, and/or direct experience may be considered in lieu of minimum educational requirements indicated above.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES (KSA)
Experience working with the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products preferred.
Restaurant Point of Sale (POS) and/or computer programming preferred.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint).

At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license.
