Overview We are looking for a highly motivated, customer focused Restaurant Server to join our team! Servers are the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experiences. Food server responsibilities include ensuring our tables are clean and tidy when guests arrive, presenting menus and serving food and beverages. This individual will need to be quick on your feet and have an engaging attitude. This is a tremendous opportunity for a driven person to grow and learn at a world-class property! Responsibility Take food and beverage orders. Retrieve and serve alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages and to serve food to the guest according to the resorts food and beverage specifications, courteously and efficiently. Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of the restaurant area and equipment. Essential Job Functions Greets all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness. Maintains complete knowledge of and comply with all department policies/service procedures and standards Anticipate the guests needs, respond promptly and acknowledge all guests Take guest orders utilizing suggestive up selling techniques Maintain positive guest relations at all times Be familiar with all the resorts services/features and local attractions in order to assist the guest Resolve guest complaints and concerns to ensure guest satisfaction Monitor and maintain cleanliness, sanitation and organization of assigned work areas. Maintains knowledge of and STRICKLY abides by State Liquor Regulations Maintain knowledge of liquor brands, beers, wines, and nonalcoholic selections as well as menu Serves alcoholic beverages in an appropriate manner consistent with company standards. Answers guest questions about food, beverages, and our facilities accurately and in a friendly Manner. Does side work during non-busy hours. Develops relationships with guests. Provides the highest level of service in accordance with our standards. Identifies food orders when ready and delivers items to tables in a timely manner. Remove soiled wares from tables and transport to designated area Present guests checks and process payments. Adhere to cash handling and credit policies/procedures. Balance cash receipts. Maintains a professional appearance at all times. Clean and reset table as soon as guest departs Communicates with food and beverage staff to ensure guest satisfaction. Reports to work as scheduled, in uniform, and ready to be in position. Maintains professional relationships with all co-workers. Follows checklists and standard operating procedures. Performs duties as assigned. Constantly increasing knowledge of food, beverages, and other products and services. Responsible for constant sanitation, organization, and proper food handling. Prepares work area for either opening, mid-shift, or closing in accordance with company standards. Qualifications General Skills / Qualifications At least 18 years old. Maintains a current state alcohol serving permit. (TABC) Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and holidays. Must be able to lift and carry at least 50lbs. Must be able to purchase a collared employee shirt upon hiring. Passion for products, entertainment, and atmosphere. Must be able to stand, walk, lift, and bend for long periods of time. Must be able to demonstrate competency as outlined in the training schedule. Excellent people skills and outgoing personality. Team player. Hard worker. Must be a service minded individual with a positive attitude who truly enjoys helping others. Must be quick on their feet and adept at handling stressful situations seamlessly. Must be computer literate. Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays.
