Primary Purpose:
The primary purpose of the Beverage Supervisor is to oversee the entire beverage operation in all outlets, creating unique beverage concepts that align with core values while enhancing guest satisfaction.
Work Performed:
The Beverage Supervisor will be tasked with the following duties, responsibilities, and assignments
Develop and implement innovative beverage menusManage day-to-day operations of all bars and beverage outlets for smooth and efficient service.Select, purchase, and manage inventory of beverages, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic options.Train and develop bar staff to deliver exceptional service and maintain high standards.Monitor beverage sales and implement strategies to increase profitability while maintaining quality.Collaborate with the culinary team to create beverage pairings that enhance our menu offerings.Maintain compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards related to beverage service.Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate them into our beverage program.Foster a positive working environment that promotes teamwork, creativity, and excellence.Qualifications:
Required Prior Experience:
Proven experience as a beverage supervisor or in a similar role at a premium hotel or high-end venue.Strong Knowledge of beverages, including wines, spirits, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.Creativity and passion for crafting unique beverages that enhance the guest experience.Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage inventory and control costs effectivelyFamiliarity with health and safety regulations related to beverage service.Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Education:
High school diploma or equivalent
Required Licenses/ Certification:
Food Safety Training certified or become certified within the first 60 days of employment.
Alcohol Awareness certified or become certified within the first 60 days of employment
Physical:
Able to lift 50lbs occasionally
Able to bend and squat repeatedly;
Able to walk and stand for the duration of scheduled shift
Ability to work outdoors for the duration of scheduled shifts.
Other:
Meet state minimum age requirement to serve alcoholic beverages
Ability to read and comprehend instructions, both written and oral
Flexible to work day shifts, early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
