Restaurant Systems Administrator
**Position Description** The Restaurant Systems Administrator will manage and maintain the restaurant’s technology systems, including point-of-sale (POS) systems, inventory management software, and other digital tools. This role ensures that all systems operate efficiently and effectively to enhance the overall dining experience for our guests and streamline operations for our staff. **Essential responsibilities will include:** + System Management: Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of all restaurant systems, including POS, inventory management, and scheduling software. + Technical Support: Provide technical support to staff, troubleshooting issues and ensuring timely resolution of system-related problems. + Training: Conduct training sessions for staff on the use of technology systems, ensuring everyone is knowledgeable and comfortable with the tools. + Data Management: Monitor and maintain accurate data entry, reporting, and analytics to help improve operational efficiency and decision-making. + Vendor Relations: Collaborate with technology vendors for system upgrades, maintenance, and troubleshooting. + Security: Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards, including safeguarding customer information and payment data. + System Upgrades: Stay updated on the latest technology trends in the restaurant industry and recommend system upgrades or new solutions as needed. + Inventory Control: Assist with inventory management processes, utilizing technology to streamline ordering and stock management. + Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for system processes, user guides, and troubleshooting procedures. **Desired Skills and Experience** + Strong understanding of POS systems and related technologies. + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure. + Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to train and support staff effectively. + Familiarity with inventory management and scheduling software is a plus. + Knowledge of data security practices and compliance standards. + Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed. + Highly motivated with a strong attention to details. + Experience supporting technology in a restaurant or hospitality environment preferred. + College degree preferred. **Why Work for Flynn?** Flynn Group offers a variety of benefits and perks to encourage and empower our employees.
