Restoration Technician

Essel Environmental provides On-Demand Emergency and Disaster Response Personnel throughout the United States.
We have an ongoing need for personnel to assist with emergency and non-emergency response in Northern and Central California including:
Duties:
- Perform restoration and repair work on buildings and structures
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks
- Clean and restore carpets and other flooring materials
- Conduct asbestos abatement procedures as needed
- Site Demolition and Cleanup
Job Responsibilities:
+ Utilize hand-tools and equipment, absorbent booms and pads to contain and remediate impacted surfaces, soils and waters.
+ Perform manual work requiring periods of extensive physical exertion
+ Must have the ability to carry out written and oral instructions
+ Be able to meet the work schedule with dependability and consistency.
+ Other duties as assigned
Requirements
+ Able and willing to travel and work on an on-call basis
+ Must be available to deploy immediately or within 24-48 hours depending on the need
+ Confined Space certification a plus
+ Chemical/oil/confined space experience strongly preferred
+ Valid Driver’s license
+ High School Diploma/ GED
+ The ability to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends when needed
+ Ability to perform labor intensive activities in any weather or environmental conditions
+ Reliable local transportation
+ Ability to perform duties while adhering to safety priorities while wearing PPE, such as respirators and protective clothing
