Your role.

Your work will include, but not be limited to:

Assist with financial and operational assessments of clients Analyze financial statements to identify unusual trends and relationships; assist in the identification of root causes of under-performance; work with the team to determine changes needed to support long term sustainable solutions Develop and modify financial models (such as monthly integrated financial forecasts and 13-week cash flow forecasts) Participate in client meetings and site visits while interacting with top-level management to acquire and assess important information for financial analysis Support and participate in negotiation discussions with client customers, vendors, banks, finance companies and other stakeholders  Interact with other practice areas including but not limited to audit, tax, and other management consulting service groups Support practice development efforts

The qualifications.

Bachelors’ Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or related field is required CPA, CA, CMA or CIRA designation(s), or significant progress towards attainment, preferred but not required 0-2 years of recent or current experience in an audit practice of a public accounting firm, turnaround consulting practice, investment banking, commercial banking, private equity, internal corporate accounting or financial planning and analysis  Role can be filled as either Senior Consultant or Manager, depending on candidate experience level Technology skills required to work with firm systems, including: Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Power Point and advanced working knowledge of Excel  Frequent travel throughout the U.S., with approximately 30% - 50% overnight travel
