RESTRUCTURING LAWYER | 1-2 PQE | International Law Firm | Birmingham An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Restructuring Lawyer (1-2 PQE) to join a highly regarded team in Birmingham. The successful candidate will gain exposure to a broad range of restructuring work, including both contentious and non-contentious insolvency matters, with a focus on sectors such as retail, energy, aerospace, automotive, and charities. The Role As a Restructuring Lawyer, you will: - Support on a wide range of restructuring and insolvency matters, advising a diverse client base that includes major insolvency practitioners and financial institutions. - Handle both contentious and non-contentious restructuring work, gaining valuable experience in distressed situations. - Work closely with senior team members and collaborate with finance and asset-based lending practices. - Develop strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, contributing to business development efforts and supporting the national restructuring team. About You To be considered for this Restructuring Lawyer role, you will: - Be English qualified, with 1-2 years PQE in a commercial law firm or similar environment. - Have experience in restructuring, insolvency, or corporate law, with a keen interest in learning new skills. - Be a team player with strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships in both in-office and flexible work settings. - Demonstrate excellent commercial judgment and a proactive approach to problem-solving. - Be client-facing with a "can-do" attitude and a collaborative mindset, eager to contribute to both transactions and practice development.
