Job Description

The Resuscitation Program Manager will focus on cardiac arrest, septic shock and other rapid deteriorations throughout the system. The role will be tasked with event investigations, data abstraction, action plan formation, collaboration with learning services for education needs and operations/simulation for system-wide cardiac arrest management and standards. There is also an opportunity for connection with annual US News and World Report (USNWR) data collection and submission.

Experience

Five years of experience in program development and project managementSeven years of experience in healthcare

Preferred Qualifications

Master’s degreeFive years of experience in pediatrics

Education

Bachelor's degree in healthcare related field

Certification Summary

Licensure as a Registered Nurse in the single State of Georgia or Multi-State through the Enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact or other current clinical Georgia license

Job Responsibilities

Partners with chief quality and patient safety officer, senior director, Quality and Patient Safety, and other system leaders to drive projects to improve quality and safety of care.Assists in the development and monitoring of quality strategic vision, annual goals, and department services.Partners with operational leaders in the development of a systematic approach to high reliability strategies and programs.Participates in the determination, definition, and periodic evaluation of the quality and patient safety program, using data to better understand strengths and weaknesses of the hospital and departments and to determine needs, decisions, and strategies.Drives effective and safe processes, ensuring efficient outcomes through collaboration with physicians, other departments, system leadership, and staff.Removes barriers and identifies patterns for improvement.
