Position Overview:  We are seeking a seasoned Partner – Retail Analytics Consulting with 15-20 years of experience in leveraging AI, data, analytics, and engineering to solve complex business challenges for Fortune 500 retailers. This senior leader will drive business growth, client success, and thought leadership across key retail functions, including merchandising, store operations, customer analytics, marketing, and supply chain. The ideal candidate is a techno-functional expert with deep industry knowledge and strong leadership capabilities. 

Key Responsibilities:

Client & Business Leadership: 

Lead strategic engagements with Fortune 500 retail clients, delivering high-impact AI and analytics solutions. 

Develop and execute data-driven strategies to optimize merchandising, store operations, marketing, customer insights, and supply chain. 

Serve as a trusted advisor to C-level executives, influencing business decisions through data-driven insights. 

Drive innovation and digital transformation in retail through AI, ML, data engineering, and cloud solutions. 

Practice & Solution Development:

Shape and enhance AI and analytics consulting offerings to drive business value in retail. 

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, engineers, domain experts) to build scalable AI solutions. 

Stay ahead of industry trends and translate emerging technologies into practical business applications. 

Business Development & Growth: 

Lead business development initiatives, expanding relationships with existing and new Fortune 500 retail clients. 

Identify opportunities for new AI-driven solutions in merchandising, operations, supply chain, and customer analytics. 

Drive thought leadership through industry events, whitepapers, and executive roundtables. 

Key Qualifications:

15-20 years of experience in retail analytics consulting, with a strong track record in solving business problems using AI, data, analytics, and engineering. 

Deep expertise in at least one of the following functional areas: merchandising, store operations, customer analytics, marketing, or supply chain. 

Strong techno-functional orientation – ability to bridge business needs with advanced AI/analytics solutions. 

Proven ability to engage with senior executives (CXOs, SVPs, VPs) and influence strategic decisions.

Demonstrated success in business development, revenue growth, and client engagement. 

Experience leading large, cross-functional teams in a consulting or enterprise environment. 

Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.Location: Based in New York, NY, with the ability to travel as needed 

Pay:

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.  The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled.  At Fractal, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case.  A reasonable estimate of the current range is: $180,000 - $250,000. In addition, for the current performance period, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus.

As a full-time employee of the company or as an hourly employee working more than 30 hours per week, you will be eligible to participate in the health, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability plans in accordance with the plan documents, which may be amended from time to time.  You will be eligible for benefits on the first day of employment with the Company.  In addition, you are eligible to participate in the Company 401(k) Plan after 30 days of employment, in accordance with the applicable plan terms.   The Company provides for 11 paid holidays and 12 weeks of Parental Leave. We also follow a “free time” PTO policy, allowing you the flexibility to take time needed for either sick time or vacation.
