Retail and Variable Marketing Specialist

This position requires building and maintaining strong relationships with both bank partners and dealers to drive vehicle sales. The role involves developing and executing strategies to leverage variable marketing effectively, ensuring its impact on leads and sales. It also entails analyzing competitive market data on pricing, marketing messaging, and vehicle equipment to identify opportunities and make recommendations for optimizing sales by model/series. The goal is to foster a collaborative and productive partnership between the company, bank partners, and dealers, maximizing sales potential and achieving shared success.

I. Retail Marketing

Support development and execution of monthly variable marketing campaigns to ensure competitiveness.Align monthly VM campaigns and communicate to ensure all parties have same understanding.Compilation of monthly MAM reports in conjunction with finance to ensure consistent and accurate data on key competitors.Work closely with Zone Managers, Sales Planning and Product Marketing during planning and execution phasesClose coordination with Partner banks to deliver effective programs Lead business review with Captive Finance to drive (i) affordable interest rates (ii) approval lead time reduction and (iii) improvement in approval rates (Management review and tracking industry movement)Conduct post campaign analysis on all variable marketing programs to understand effectiveness and potential changes requiredUnderstand the market.  Assess deals to understand competitiveness/effectiveness of campaigns.Work closely with Zone Managers to drive dealer local marketing and sales event implementation. Analyze and evaluate event result e.g. number of prospects and booking vs targets.Close communication with Marketing Communications Manager and team to ensure robust retail communications campaign and targeted campaigns (events) are delivered with strong retail offers.Facilitate documentation requirement for sales promotion application with DTIDelivering retail objectives within given VM budgets and developing plans to optimize budgets based on changing business situationsWork on waste elimination goals by focusing on process improvements.

II. Bank Partner Management

Penetration rate vs. objective reviews, application, approval and booking reviews, support dealer training requirements for financing transactions and plan with banks their actions to achieve program targetsLead bank partners meetings - ensure cascading of Ford marketing and Customer ProgramsSupport dealership Retail financing promotions and activitiesDetermine and resolve wholesale credit line issues, ensure compliance of Company to dealer policies and DSSAIn-charge of annual bank partners SLA renewal and co-operation agreement updatesAnalyze competitor’s financing actions and provide insights and proposals to marketing and bank partners for counter-measuresProtect Ford Brand Image in accordance with Company policy requirementsLocal market point of contact with Ford Credit
