Retail Buyer-FMCG
• Manage assigned categories and Brand partners and ensure them to achieve commercial and operational excellence on Lazada, while alsodeveloping the product portfolio for assigned categories, ensuring a balanced mix of demand and profitability
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, customer preferences, and competitor strategies, and align them to internal strategies.
• Act as single point of contact for Brands related to the assigned categories. To give them performance analysis and provide solutions to their current business problems or their additional inquiries.
• Negotiate with suppliers to secure competitive pricing & other promo mechanics, as well as Trading Terms, while maintaining strong relationships.
• Educate brands on Lazada platform promotional tools, features & policies-- and engage them to participate in campaigns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operation, Marketing, and Campaign team, to ensure smooth operational and campaign execution.
• Monitor sales performance and inventory levels, adjusting purchasing strategies to maximize profitability and minimize out-of-stock and overstock.
• Onboard new principal and negotiate new Trading Term
• Able to lead project and innitiatives to achieve a breakthrough in the online marketplace industry
