Responsible for complete and holistic Operational Excellence within Retail Operations division through best-in-class Content and Communication ManagementResponsible for administrative management and maintenance of the content and communications portfolio for Retail Operations.Represent Retail Model Design while participating in special projects or initiatives that impact Retail Operations or the Retail channel from a content, knowledge management and communications perspective. Take full responsibility for end-to-end related and applicable actions.To manage and facilitate all communication related activities for the Retail channel and/or Retail Operations division from a Retail Model Design perspective.Support with the management of all Retail knowledge content and platform/s ensuring continuous alignment to the Retail Model, including Retail Knowledge Base.Manage and maintain applicable platforms and tools for Retail communication, models, content and knowledge management.Manage, govern and/or facilitate all communication related activities for the Retail channel from a Retail Model Design perspective.Manage the end-to-end retail communications mailbox, including the drafting of comms, acquiring approvals and distribution to trade. Your responsibilities will include:
Best in Class Retail Operational Excellence:Represent Retail Model Design & Delivery and strategic Retail objectives in all engagements and collaborations with various business units including but not limited to Vodacom communications teams, Product Governance / NEPSI, Learning and Development, project teams / resources etc, Responsible for the application, continuous relevance and evolution of Retail Knowledge Base ensuring alignment to Retail Model and Retail strategies and objectives.Conceptualise, own and deliver a Retail Model Design Communication Strategy for the Retail channel.Proactively explore new platforms of communication to ensure ongoing engaging communicationCompile and facilitate distribution of, communications or content as required. Define / decide upon the most effective format for required communications / contentReview and proofread communications prior to distributionProactively manage input to the Retail Knowledge Base platform.Identify and utilise optimal platforms for required communications thereby creating effective knowledge sharing and access.Manage and maintain applicable platforms / tools used for Communication, Model Management and Knowledge Management ensuring integrity, relevance and effectiveness at all times. To engage all Retail frontline staff and drive a customer obsessed culture.To create different types of communication mediums like presentations, emails and social media etc to key Retail stakeholders Proactively manage input of communications by building a content library for Retail.Facilitate effective communication between key project resources by convening , initiating, planning and scheduling project review meetingsCommunication planning for project implementation.. Knowledge and understanding of:Business model design.Communication methodologies (content & delivery).Learning & Development methodologies (content and delivery).Knowledge Management methodologies Project management principals and approaches.
Operational Input:
Ensure channel readiness for implementation through effective communication strategy and planningEnsure effective communication as necessary to the Trade and Retail Division through managed communication efforts.Formulate presentation, delivery models and that will support the successful implementation and maintenance of the various retail initiatives Ensure real-time knowledge of the Retail environment through regular, efficient store visitsThe ideal candidate for this role will have:
