Retail Data Integrity Analyst

• Supports Manger in ensuring all price execution procedures are executed in a manner 
complying with the Company’s Scan and Scale Accuracy Policy, maintaining retail integrity in all 
stores.
• Helps ensure the execution for all retail integrity programs in stores.
• Work with stores and assists with developing effective training programs regarding pricing and 
sale requirements as well as to ensure regulatory compliance with local, state, and federal 
retail pricing standards. Able to build strong business relationships with regulatory agents.

• Provides support to Store Management and Scan Coordinators with compliance to programs, 
policies, and procedures related to retail integrity. 
o Monitor compliance: tag subscription, host price maintenance, markdown links, tag 
integrity, handhelds, WIC, MA Price Checkers, section of the week assignments, etc. 
• Oversees and actions store reported Weights & Measures audits. Ensures prompt payment of 
subsequent invoices and citations.
• Understands the impact of company profitability, using tools such POS and Host Pricing Files as 
well as Corporate Pricing, Marketing, and Advertising systems. 
• Train and ensure quality control process is in place to support promotions and ad pricing, 
minimizing store intervention.
• Creates tools to develop and train all departments in maintaining operational excellence in 
retail integrity that maximize sales and profits.
• Performs related duties as requested by Retail Data Integrity Manager at the Corporate Retail 
Operations Support.
• Partners with other functional areas, especially Merchandising, to ensure pricing accuracy and 
execution.
• Follow up on reported Ad Discrepancies to ensure that resolution is expedited.
• Assists with verifying future offers in the pricing system (SSIMS/CMS) to the physical flyers 
offered in each of the five states Shaw’s and Star Market operates.
• Analyze data, prepare and publish reports to improve business practices and profitability. 
Areas include but are not limited to: retail pricing, tag subscription, Friday correction batch, tag 
hanging productivity, tag labor, etc. Create action plans to improve areas of opportunity 
identified through the reporting process.

Job Requirements
Relevant Experience, Education, Certification, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities 
• Bachelor’s degree preferred. 
• Possess excellent Personal Computer Skill (Microsoft Programs: Word, PowerPoint, Internet, 
and strong knowledge of Excel. Must be able to quickly navigate systems, create reports, and 
use Microsoft tools to analyze data.
• 5 years of experience in retail store operations preferred. 
• Must have a good understanding of Company scanning and price maintenance support 
application systems and practices.
• Possess a good understanding of Point-of-Sale systems, electronic data processing, accounting 
and general business procedures and practices.
• Possess excellent communication skills, including verbal and written, as well as the ability to 
speak effectively before groups. Must be able to interface effectively with a wide variety of 
personnel. Possess ability to communicate concepts, systems, procedures, etc., in a training 
environment.
• Possess leadership skills and the ability to motivate others to achieve desired results by 
providing direct dialog and personnel evaluations.
• Possess good organizational skills and attention to detail is a must. Ability to work and 
coordinate multiple projects throughout the business day/week.
Requires analytical ability and mental alertness to ensure accurate and thorough completion of work 
activities as well as for data interpretation and analysis. Possess ability to concentrate and deal with 
frequent interruptions with ability to prioritize necessary tasks.
Physical Environment
• Most work is performed in a temperature-controlled office environment.
• Incumbent may sit for long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
• Incumbent may use keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal 
workday.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, lifting and reaching may be required in completion of job duties. 
• Position requires some travel.
