Retail Design Associate - Yardbird
As a Retail Showroom Associate at our Yardbird outdoor furniture showroom, you’ll provide excellent customer service and meet sales quotas for our business. You’ll identify customer needs, answer questions regarding our product and services and make professional recommendations. Our sales approach is professional, effortless, and relaxed. Ultimately, you’ll ensure that customers leave our store satisfied with their experience.

This role takes place at a Yardbird premium outdoor furniture showroom. This standalone store is separate from Best Buy’s larger retail locations.

What you’ll doGreet all customers and be friendly and helpful. Make the best first impressionServe as an expert on all things patio furniture by providing accurate, up-to-date information to our customers including product features, pricing, delivery, warranties and returnsProcess orders in person and over the phoneMonitor inventory levels and be aware of items with low or no inventoryFollow up with potential customers via telephone and email and online chat functionOccasionally assist at our trade shows, inviting people to our boothBasic qualificationsAbility to work successfully as part of a teamPreferred qualifications1 year of sales, customer service, or retail experienceHands-on experience with POS transactionsAbility to work long hours, short hours, holidays or weekendsExpert communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work in high-pressure situationsExcellent organizational and time management skillsWhat’s in it for you
