RETAIL FINANCE ANALYST (POWERBI) (6+ MONTH CONTRACT)

We are looking for a Retail Finance Analyst (PowerBI) contractor who will report to the Retail Finance Team Lead, and who’ll be tasked with ensuring the reporting needs of the retail finance team are exceeded. As part of your role, you’ll be helping design and update analytical dashboards as well as supporting the team with invoice processing and other administrative tasks. In your role, you’ll be significantly contributing to our business operations team through effective reporting design and updated dashboards.

 YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

\n\nCreate and maintain PowerBI dashboards to support retail finance decision-making\nPeriodically update and validate various reports, and visualizations across multiple data sources \nPrepare retail financing pricing grids and other promotional documents while ensuring clear and timely communication with our financing partners\nOversee monthly retail financing costs, accruals, and overhead expense management\nValidate and process invoices, manage journal entries; open and pay purchase orders and ensure monthly budget tracking\nSupport the Business Operations Team with ad hoc tasks such as data entry and reporting, document creation and review, and other administrative duties\n\n

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

\n

Required:

\n\nBachelor’s degree in Business Analysis, Data Analytics or relevant field is required\n1 year of hands on data visualization experience with Microsoft PowerBI (including DAX language and measures)\nStrong SQL skills - Writing and updating SQL queries to pull and transform complex data sets for analysis is required\nEffective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly present processes and findings to a non-analytical audience\n\n

Preferred:

\n\nExperience utilizing Python\nFluency in French is a plus\nInnovative mindset and demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.\nInterpersonal skills and motivation to work in an open team environment\n\n

THIS IS A 6 MONTH CONTRACT POSITION WITH A POSSIBILITY OF BEING EXTENDED OR BECOMING FULL-TIME DEPENDENT UPON BUSINESS NEEDS. THE SELECTED CANDIDATE MUST BE ABLE TO WORK A HYBRID SCHEDULE AT OUR PLANO, TX OFFICE.
