About the role:
We are in search of an experienced and exceptionalRetail Financial Planning and Analysis Manageradept at providing comprehensive financial analysis, forecasting, modeling, and strategic planning for our retail client programs. Key responsibilities encompass overseeing and reporting on our retail programs, meticulously analyzing trends, generating comprehensive financial reports, and fostering cross-functional collaboration to optimize performance.
This pivotal role serves as a cornerstone for decision-making by offering critical insights derived from thorough financial assessments. These insights play a vital role in attaining financial goals and crafting well-informed strategies to foster sustainable growth within the ever-evolving retail landscape.
In Office: 5 days
What you’ll do:
+ Manage the financial planning and analysis effort for our retail client groups, using key input levers from the business
+ Communicate financial analyses, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders through clear and concise reports, presentations, and visualizations. Translate complex financial data into actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders
+ Identify opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiencies
+ Develop and manage the annual budgeting process for retail client groups
+ Prepare accurate financial forecasts based on market trends, historical data, and operational input
+ Monitor actual performance against forecasts and budgets, providing variance analysis and explanation
+ Collaborate with senior leadership to develop financial strategies, scenario modeling, and risk assessments to support long-term business objectives
+ Work closely with business managers to drive operational efficiency
+ Provide financial insights and analysis to assist in decision-making processes
+ Build and maintain financial models to evaluate retail projects, pricing strategies, and investment opportunities
+ Conduct sensitivity analysis and scenario planning to assess potential outcomes and risks
+ Continuously refining forecasting methodologies and improve accuracy by incorporating industry trends and operational changes
+ Streamline Financial Planning and Analysis processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness
What you’ve done:
+ Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field, MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) preferred
+ Minimum of 5+ years in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the retail industry
+ Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
+ Strong leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills
+ Understanding of retail operations and market dynamics
+ Excellent communication and presentation skills, ability to convey complex financial information to non-finance stakeholders
+ Strategic mindset with the ability to think critically and contribute to business strategy
+ Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
