Sodexo is seeking a Retail Food Operations Manager at Nebraska Medical Center located in Omaha, NE. The Food Operations Manager will manage and direct food locations (Starbucks, Restaurant, Cafés, Convenient Store, and Micro-Market) throughout the hospital. The Food Operations Manager will be a dynamic team player with a strong background in directing front of house food operations and teams.

The successful candidate will:

direct and oversee all retail food operations for the hospital (Starbucks, Restaurant, Cafés, Convenient Store, and Micro-Market) manage, develop and engage with subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employeesinteract with customers, hospital staff, and visitors to ensure customer satisfaction oversee cash handing processes and POS programming and maintenancemaintain all product merchandising, marketing and ordering standards are in placeachieve company and client financial targets and goals

 

We are looking for candidates who have:

experience as a front of house or food operations manager (retail food outlets, restaurants, hotels, catering etc.)demonstrated leadership skills and proven ability to foster culture, retain employees, and develop teams financial acumen and technical skills a results-driven mindset that enjoys working hands-on to support the teama valid driver’s license and acceptable driver’s license record check is required

Qualifications & Requirements

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Basic Management Experience - 3 years   

Basic Functional Experience - 3 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
