What you'll do:

The Retail Lending Sales Trainer is responsible for developing and delivering training programs to new and existing sales staff in the Retail Lending division. This role involves creating comprehensive training materials, conducting workshops, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to ensure the sales team is equipped with the knowledge and skills necessary to meet sales targets and deliver exceptional customer service.Identify training needs by evaluating strengths and weaknessesTranslate requirements into trainings that will groom employees for the next step of their career pathDevelop or oversee the production of classroom handouts, instructional materials, aids and manualsDirect structured learning experiences and monitor their quality resultsDeliver training courses and assess training effectiveness to ensure incorporation of taught skills and techniques into employee’s work behaviorPeriodically evaluate ongoing programs to ensure that they reflect any changesStay abreast of the new trends and tools in employee development.

What you'll need:

5+ years of related experience in Training or similar fieldHigh school diploma requiredEntry level to intermediate Knowledge of residential mortgage industry in Correspondent or Retail Lending, including sales, operations, capital markets and/or other residential mortgage products and servicesEntry level to intermediate knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practicesIntermediate mortgage industry experienceIntermediate speaking and writing

Compensation: Salary range for new hires is generally $76,405.00 - $94,382.66 for Westlake Village, CA. Salary amount is determined by specific job location. In addition, the role may be eligible for annual bonus/incentives earned.
