Sodexo is seeking a Retail Manager 2 (Food Services) to manage retail food service operations at Everett Hospital in Everett, MA. The Retail Manager will support the second shift (approx. 10:30a-7:00p but may vary slightly) and oversee a team of up to 10 hourly employees. This individual will be part of the food service management team, which rotates weekend coverage every 3rd weekend. At this location we will be opening a new Micro Mart, and the Retail Manager will be part of the team helping to set that up.
In this role you will:
have oversight of day-to-day retail operations, as well as support the patient side as needed on the evening shiftensure high quality food is being served for cafeteria, patient, and micro mart areasassist with retail product inventory and orderingconduct weekly safety walks and monthly employee safety in-service trainingsbe responsible for annual evaluation and goals for retail employees including; Food and Physical Safety and HACCP record keeping.The ideal candidate:
has a work history in food service, as well as previous supervisory experiencehas experience in prior roles showcasing their ability to prioritize tasks and manage weekly menu planningis experienced leading, engaging, and developing a team has computer skills and ability to operate automated register machinesis Servsafe certified and has working knowledge of HACCPEverett Hospital is a part of the CHA system, licenced for 114 beds including ICU, Med-Surg, and Psych units. We also support outpatinet care and a very busy Emergency Department.
