Retail Merchandise Coordinator - Gift Shop

This is a part time (32 hours/week) position working 9a-5:30p with rotating weekend coverage.

Job Description: Develops strategies for promotion of merchandise to maximize sales including creation of design inspirations for customers and use of the internet.  Provides overall design and coordination of product placement on the sales floor with attention to the marketability of unique items, seasonal events, and collections.  Identifies potential for display opportunities and provides continual change-up of store displaces to include store window, jewelry cases and internet.  Purchases merchandise, as appropriate, to capture current trends in accessories.  Provides overall supervision and training of volunteers in merchandising.

Required Qualifications:

Retail sales floor merchandising experience. Upon request: Driving may be necessary as part of this role. Caregivers are required to comply with all state laws and requirements for driving. Caregivers will be expected to provide proof of driver license and auto insurance upon request. See policy for additional information.
