Function: Performs various funding, post-closing and shipping functions. Initiates, validates and confirms wire transfer requests in compliance with corporate policy. Reviews executed loan documents for compliance, completeness and accuracy. Obtains missing documentation and provides support to both internal and external customers.
Duties & Responsibilities:
1. Authorizes and disburses new loan proceeds to settlement agents upon receipt of required documentation for both portfolio and secondary market loans.
2. Maintains a personal identification number (PIN) for initiating and confirming wire transfer requests in compliance with corporate policy, including documenting proper approvals, as necessary, and customer confirmation callbacks.
3. Ensures Settlement Statement received is the closing disclosure approved by the closer.
4. Reviews all closed loan documents received from the settlement company to ensure all documents are returned, signed, dated, and initialed where applicable.
5. Assembles and delivers closed loan files to Loan Servicing in required order.
6. Posts fees to appropriate General Ledger accounts in accordance with corporate policy.
7. Identifies document errors and follows up with settlement agents for missing or deficient documentation and conditions. Tracks exceptions in the loan origination system with appropriate follow up.
8. Pulls the withdrawn/turndown file report and notifies escrow department on files that have been withdrawn that have an escrow transfer.
9. Maintains accurate tracking of items on the funding log/clipboard and closed loans by originators. Accurately changes loan statuses in the loan origination system.
10. Pulls investor reports to ensure investor loans are closed and shipped by loan expiration date.
11. Tracks correspondent loan due dates.
12. Ensures all loan documents listed on the Document Audit checklist are received.
13. Ensures all loan conditions outstanding at closing are satisfied.
14. Reviews correspondent documents in accuracy and completeness.
15. Prepares correspondent documents in required investor order and uploads file to investor by required due date.
16. Maintains exception tracking log for pended correspondent items.
17. Ships final documents to investor by investor due date.
18. Assembles closed correspondent loan files for delivery to LSC.
19. Prepares and delivers Transfer of Servicing letters to applicable borrowers in accordance with Regulation X.
20. Performs department notary duties.
21. Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.
22. Performs additional duties as required.
Physical Demands
Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 60% of the business day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, elbows. Use of manual dexterity skills for typing and data entry up to 40% of the business day. Specific vision requirements include close vision of 18”-20” for computer work. Education:
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
Experience:
Requires up to one year of general experience.

Salary Range:
$15.00 - $24.04
