Apple is looking for a passionate and talented network engineer intern to join our Retail Networks team in London. The Retail Networks Team manages the network infrastructure supporting Apple stores worldwide, including both wired and wireless technologies. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience while helping the retail networks operations team tackle incident management and operational challenges, enabling customers to enjoy a seamless and safe shopping experience. DescriptionDescriptionThis internship will provide valuable insights, foster innovative thinking, and enable you to make meaningful contributions to a global network infrastructure. During your three months internship with us, you will: Examine current incident data to identify recurring issues and patterns and investigate delays in ticket closures. Propose strategies to reduce backlog and improve resolution efficiency. Using AI and Automation propose ways to improve current incident management by analysing trends, evaluating ticket resolution times, and addressing aging tickets. Collaborate with various Global Network Services and Infrastructure services teams to understand challenges and recommend solutions for better operational workflows. Prepare detailed presentations of findings and suggested process improvements for leadership teams.
