Retail Ops, Analyst I

What You Can Expect

As a Retail Operations Analyst I, you will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of our billing processes while gaining in-depth knowledge of the products we offer. You'll have the opportunity to troubleshoot and resolve customer concerns, contributing directly to the success of our operations. In this role, you’ll collaborate with both independent and cross-functional teams on critical billing functions and work closely with third-party vendors to deliver exceptional customer service to our internal and external clients. This position is based in Houston, TX, and reports directly to the Manager of Retail Operations.

 

Ensure accurate and timely billing for Retail C&I customers and resolve billing disputes Collaborate on projects to improve billing, customer experience, and reporting processes Implement and maintain quality control measures for outgoing invoices Support cross-functional teams and maintain compliance with regulatory standards  

 

 

What You’ll Bring

 

You hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related field, or 4 years directly relevant experience in lieu of degree This is an entry-level position where prior experience is not required, but you will be expected to develop analytical skills in a business environment. Exposure to sales or customer service settings could be advantageous You have direct exposure to billing and operations across multiple markets You possess strong knowledge of retail energy operations and regulatory standards You have knowledge with SQL, macros, and MS Access, along with advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite You are an excellent communicator with keen attention to detail You are reliable, ethical, and capable of working independently or as part of a team

 

 

Additional Details

This role is eligible for our hybrid work policy consisting of a minimum three (3) days in the office at the Houston, TX office Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies

 

 

Compensation

Salary Range: $42,000 – $58,905 USD annually

 

This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.

Actual offered salary may depend on geography, experience, industry knowledge, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
