Optical Retail Sales Associate (full-time) needed at Pearle Vision in Lakewood.  The Best Candidate will have solid customer service and/or retail sales background.  The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, excellent phone manners and a basic administrative background.    Looking for a long-term employee ONLY.   At first, you will be a retail sales and customer service associate.   Then you will be learning to be an Optician.   Advancement opportunities available. Responsibilities at first:  * You will be provided with your own desk, supplies, phone and a computer * Responsible for answering and directing all incoming phone calls and taking messages * Responsible for greeting all customers entering the facility and directing them to the appropriate areas * Giving customers paperwork to fill out before their eye exams or sale * Making and confirming eye exam appointments * Getting information on vision insurances from customers * Pulling all patients' records for today and tomorrow and then filing them away at the end of the day * Calling patients to let them know their contact lenses or eyeglasses came in * Doing other related clerical duties as directed * Putting patients' records in the computer * Light cleaning like vacuuming, trash, cleaning windows and frames * Pricing, cleaning and organizing eyeglass frames  * All training and support provided.  You will not be on your own.  We are here to support you.
