We are looking for a reliable employee to join our Retail Pharmacy team as a Pharmacy Technician.Schedule of this position would include working 8-hour day shifts, and 8-hour evening shifts doing the weekdays. Weekend and holidays do rotate, working every 7th weekend and holiday.

Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- Conduct initial review and intake of prescriptions.
- Accurately fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
- Operate the register and manage point-of-sale transactions.
- Prepare and package medications for shipping
- Prepare and dispense medications for patients admitted to the facility.
Qualifications
High School graduate or general education diploma (GED) required.
North Dakota: Pharmacy Technicians must register as a Pharmacy Technician or Technician in Training with the ND Board of Pharmacy, before beginning employment in the pharmacy. An applicant for registration as a pharmacy technician in training must register for Sanford provided (or equivalent) ASHP accredited education and obtain national certification approved by the board of pharmacy within the board of pharmacy’s timelines. The Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) or National Healthcareer Association (NHA) are approved certification bodies. The registration as a pharmacy technician in training or pharmacy technician will continue as long as the applicant maintains a pharmacy technician-in-training or pharmacy technician license from the North Dakota board of pharmacy. Failure to obtain ASHP accredited education and National Certification before the board of pharmacy removes the technician in training license will result in termination of position.
