General Description of the Position
The primary responsibility is to plan and execute marketing initiatives for ABJ’s retail business. Working with Retail Product Marketing (RPM) team member, the role supports the firm’s integrated marketing strategies for retail business.
Responsibility
Closely work with Head of RPM, team members, Retail Relationship Managers and other related teams to develop and implement integrated marketing strategies to support the sales activities of the firm’s products and meet business opportunities. The successful candidate will plan and implement production of marketing tools including investment story telling tools through sales materials, reports, videos, and websites.
Qualification
Experience of creation of sales materials, reports, and other promotion toolsKnowledge of macro economy, financial markets, and investmentsExperience in asset management industry and knowledge and understanding of the mutual fund business including the law, regulation, structure, business practice, competitors’ landscape, etc.Project management and vendor management skillEffective communication skill to work with people at all levels inside/outside of the firm.Self-motivated, enthusiastic, idea-generative, and team-orientedExpected Specific Roles Plan and implement production of marketing tools including investment story telling through, sales materials, reports, videos, and websites. Plan and implement promotional webinars and campaigns. Participate in vendor selections and manage ongoing relationships. Vendor management including ad agencies, design-houses, printing companies and web management companies.
Required Skill set/Competency/Job Knowledge/Experience
Quantitative
More than 3 years of experience in the asset management industry (buy-side)More than 1 year of experience in product marketing and/or retail marketingBilingual. Excellent oral and written communications skill both in English (TOEIC Score more than 800) and Japanese.PC literacy (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Qualitative
