Position Summary:  

The Retail Program Manager will be responsible for consulting with customers on onboarding their trading partner community using best practices and real-time data to maximize results. Acting as a liaison between the Buying Organization and its trading partners, the Retail Program Manager will coordinate messaging and escalation strategies. This role requires strong customer management, consulting, analytical, and communication skills to drive commitment rates for external customer acquisition programs!

 

Key Responsibilities:  

Maintain alignment with the retailer’s outreach project team to execute messaging plans, strategies, and manage escalations.Set expectations and enforce best practices with retailers, explaining how their actions impact results.Act as an encouraging and empathetic resource for retailers, pushing them to be appropriately uncomfortable when necessary.Coordinate and collaborate with retailers and internal account teams to accurately represent the status and needs of their vendor lists provided to SPS Commerce.Develop and execute training curriculum for sales staff to effectively represent our buying organizations goals and strategies during a trading partner outreach

This is a hybrid position based in our Minneapolis office.

 

Required Qualifications:  

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, with 3-5 years in project managementStrong project management, organizational and communication skillsExperience in facilitating communications, problem resolution, and working independently or as part of a teamComfortable in a fast-paced environment and possessing an ability to handle multiple projects or deadlines simultaneouslyAbility to travel once per quarter

 

Preferred Qualifications:  

Experience in project management, account management, retail, B2B sales or consultingExperience with Salesforce

The salary range for this role considers several factors, including education, relevant skills, work history, certifications, location, and more.  

The annual salary range for this role is: $62,100-$93,100. The actual salary offered will be determined based on the factors listed above and may fall anywhere within the range.
