Retail/Rental Supervisor

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Oversee the daily operations of retail and rental locations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all areas (stores, carts, cabanas, tubes, and lockers). Accountable for Cost of Sales and Labor Expenses associated with each location within assigned area. Playing a key role in the Training and Development of the Retail and Rental Team members and Team leads. Ensures proper staffing levels are maintained and follows-up with Co-Supervisors, and In-Park Revenue Manager. Carry out any disciplinary measures as necessary to ensure that the Retail and Rental team follows Park policies and procedures each day. Ensure all team members and leads are trained on Point of Sale (POS) systems and adherence to all operational procedures. Collaborate with loss prevention on any POS or theft-related issues. Responsible for tracking inventory transfers, damages, and other inventory information for Retail. Develop and maintain visual merchandising plans for each assigned location. Rotate floor product and displays giving Guests a fresh look at items. Must have a strong knowledge of products, actively promote them in a positive manner, and consistently strive to make every sale Ensuring all paperwork gets filled out correctly and appropriately. Emphasized focus on the Cabana operation, policies, and procedures. Supervise training and daily performance of all employees within the assigned area, to ensure that Guest First Service and Safety policies are followed. Responsible for all aspects Retail and Rental locations to produce maximum revenues while keeping the cost within budgeted guidelines. Requires using a telephone or radio communication device in a professional manner. Resolve Guest concerns that may arise on a daily basis. Ensure compliance with all Corporate and Park policies and procedures. Safeguard company assets, including equipment and merchandise, and supplies. Perform duties including park setup and breakdown, visual displays, and signage. Fully embrace and execute the company’s commitment to Friendly, Clean, Fast, Safe Service. Ensure that all safety goals are reached, Safety Audits are turned in weekly and that all Safety Guidelines are followed. Other duties as assigned by the IPR Full time supervisor and the IPR Manager.

 

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 16 years of age or older Strong analytical skills; ability to effectively identify issues and propose solutions Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and ability to interact effectively with all levels of management. Ability to handle registered transactions. Good communication skills/ reading and writing skills Previous experience in supervising a team. Must be highly organized and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays when needed.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to walk and stand for up to 8 hours at a time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds. May require the use of a ladder Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
