The RDM team create and care for Apple Stores that look, feel, and function as beautifully as our products. We do this by obsessing over the employee and customer experience, and driving a global strategy that sets the bar. The Store Journey Design team is a multi-disciplinary team with deep expertise in Apple Retail, experience design, and business strategy. Our purpose is to identify high-impact opportunities and develop holistic strategies for the future of Apple Retail Stores. We collaborate across Apple to align business requirements and design solutions that meet current and future customer and employee needs. We partner with cross-functional teams, to deliver new and updated store programs, designs, and formats that set the bar for retail experiences and drive significant business value. **Description** In this role, you will help us create, test, and refine new concepts to modernize existing stores and create future formats. We are open to creative and analytical thinkers, who think different and can come from anywhere. -Integrate customer experience, consumer trends, and business insights into a physical design and development process and collaborate with design managers and design coordinators. -Conduct research and synthesize multiple sources of analytics and insights to deliver business and financial insights that support recommendations for new store formats. -Collaborate with partners, including Design, Merchandising, Retail Marketing, Marcom, Retail Operations, RDM Strategy & Operations, Real Estate, Finance, Retail Operations, and Field Leadership. -Manage prototyping, experimentation, and field testing for pilots. -Define, implement, and manage new store programs at global scales. -Analyze the performance of store enhancements and new concepts to inform ongoing and future strategies. -Spend time in Apple Retail stores and with field leadership to understand the current state experience, customer expectations, and areas to improve. **Minimum Qualifications** + 10+ years experience in retail strategy, product, store format, or business development in a customer-centric environment or strategy consulting firm. + Big picture thinker with sharp quantitative and qualitative skills who build bridges from the creative to the tangible + Proven ability to improve a retail customer experience by recommending data-driven changes coupled with business insights + Experience in selecting, collecting and analyzing large data sets to synthesize insights **Key Qualifications** **Preferred Qualifications** + Problem solver who can synthesize the complex and distinguish signal from noise + Ability to identify and build the processes vital to get work done and seeks ways to improve processes, from minor tweaks to complete reengineering + Exceptional influencer who is great at connecting the dots at the project, team, and organizational levels + Ability to quickly develop highly cross-functional partnerships to address complex problems + Ability to self-direct and problem-solve in sophisticated, ambiguous, or constantly evolving environments while balancing multiple work streams + Experience in rapid iteration and user testing to learn through prototyping + Demonstrates Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities **Education & Experience** **Additional Requirements** **Pay & Benefits** + At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $170,200 and $255,400, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs.
