Cash Reconciliations and Budgeting Consolidate
\n§ Conduct cash reconciliation reports and cash/credit card transactions of retail outlets in his designated area.
\n§ Maintains the Petty Cash Fund of his designated area and prepare reports for budgeting and tracking purposes.
\n\nReporting and Data Handling
\n§ Maintain Express Center Cash shipment data
\n§ Coordinate and consolidate data transfer between Express Centers country office
\n§ Monitor area performance by implementing a store scorecard sheet.
\n§ Review and analyse the most effective uses of shipment automation and customer take up at Point-of-Sale (POS)
\n\nOperational and Administrative
\n§ Implement store hours that is most reflective of the needs of customers and ensure that this is consistently implemented in his given area
\n§ Handle the rostering of store officers and ensure that all frontline staff in his given area has low absenteeism, low in tardiness, is properly groomed at all times.
\n§ Ensure that outlets in his given area all have proper supplies and marketing collaterals.
\n§ Monitor staff performance regularly and conduct training or mentoring to staff as he deem fit.
\n\nPeople Management
\n§ Develop and inculcate a high performance service culture within the functional area. Plan, organise and support an efficient and effective team of retail store officers in a given area.
\n§ Manage and infuse a close-knit team spirit.
\n§ Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
\n§ Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled team
\nCoach and develop strong skills and capabilities of subordinate(s).
\nKEY CAPABILITIES\n\n
§ Highly developed experience in the field of retail sales with demonstrated understanding of and exposure to all elements of the retail trade and outlet management
\n§ Team-player and proven leadership and influencing skills
\n§ High levels of patience
\n§ Perseverance to bring issues to logical conclusion
\n§ Sales orientation
\n§ Strong English (written and spoken) comprehension and communication skills are essential.
\n\nEXPECTED YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
\n§ A minimum of 4 years experience in the field of retail sales and area marketing
\n§ Experience in sales/sales processes
\n§ Knowledge and understanding of the retail trade from a service and sales perspective.
\n§ Experience in leading a frontline team is preferred
