As the Retail Supervisor, you will support retail merchandise operations including organization, presentation, associate training and oversight, inventory management and driving sales. Ultimately, the Retail Supervisor should be knowledgeable in merchandise/retail sales, operations and equipment repairs. This position requires attention to detail, organization and an eye for presentation. Your leadership will guide staff through a safe, fun, engaging, and memorable Woodward experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Service Excellence

Support all established guest service standards.Knowledgeable in retail sales and operations.Merchandising and other techniques to drive sales.Maintain a well-kept appearance of store and product presentation.Strong execution of visual directives as well as pro-active changes as informed by traffic flow and/or operational pivots.Repair camper and guests' bikes, skateboards and scooters to ensure their ability to continue riding and enjoying all camp parks/facilities. 
 

Inventory Management & Sales

Responsible for timely back stock replenishment and re-orders.Maintain set best practices operating the point-of-sale system.Execute excellent time management skills to keep incoming inventory added into the point of sale and organized on the sales floor or in auxiliary storage.Create plan to minimize loss prevention and inventory discrepancies.

Staffing Supervision

Assist with recruiting and training the retail merchandise team. Responsible for scheduling of all retail shifts. Able to develop and implement merchandising strategies. Effectively plan and manage staff adjusting to high and low traffic periods. Learn strong level of product knowledge to ensure strong customer service excellence.
 

Other duties as assigned based on business needs.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE/SPECIAL SKILLS

Experience in a supervisory role. Knowledge of merchandising techniques Knowledge of action sports equipment Knowledge of retail operations experience Customer service experience High school degree or equivalent preferred Strong interpersonal skills. Able to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization. Ability to implement ideas.Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50lbs.Dedicated to being prompt and timely.Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.Must be comfortable working in an indoor and outdoor all-season environment.Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
