The Retail Quality Assurance team manages the user acceptance testing (UAT) process to ensure our users receive acceptable software that supports the business requirements. After UAT is complete, the QA Lead will also support planing and driving production validation testing (PVT) as systems are released to end users.
**Description**
As a Retail Systems Quality Assurance (QA) Lead, you will work as an integral member of the implementation team along with the product manager, business stakeholders, and development teams to ensure Retail applications satisfy the needs of the business and the end user. - Responsible for tester recruitment and engagement, day-to-day testing operations, and communication to project stakeholders during UAT and PVT. - Manage multinational teams of subject matter experts (SMEs) from Apple Retail Stores who will complete tests designed and planned by the QA Lead. - Define, document and communicate test plans, including target completion dates and test cases that thoroughly test the product in order to reveal potential defects, based on requirement and design review sessions. - Clearly document and track defects with our engineering partners, striving for stability and quality for our retail systems. - Influence and direct project teams to follow standardized and defined processes, with ability to recognize problems caused by process and taking corrective action to improve process.
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ 4+ years experience, working directly with Retail Systems (e.g. Point of Sale, Inventory Management, Service Management, Assortment & Planogram management, CRMs, etc.)
+ 1+ years experience with User Acceptance Testing or Software Development Lifecycle, in a corporate setting, leading cross-functional projects from vision to execution.
