Retention Marketing Manager, New Use Cases (Going Out)

About the Team

To further this mission, we’re looking for an experienced marketer who will sit at the intersection of growth, brand and operations, to develop integrated marketing strategies for our Consumer business at DoorDash.

About the Role

You’ll be joining the Going Out team, which is focused on building millions of in person connections between Merchants and Consumers by driving in store sales. We are building from the ground up, and this team has been working on the problem for less than a year, which means you’ll have a big opportunity to shape strategy and build with us. The success of Going Out is dependent on our ability to reach our customers, communicate the value & mechanics of the program, and match them to the right restaurants to bring them into the product.

As Product Marketing Manager for Going Out, you will be responsible for defining the strategy to both test and launch new Going Out features and benefits and drive ongoing engagement with current Going Out Customers. Through close collaboration with the product management and operations teams, you will build our marketing strategy, own campaigns to drive conversion, and be the voice of the customer to build a better product.

You're excited about this opportunity because... Create CRM campaigns across the customer lifecycle including automations and ad hoc communications to support adoption of and retention to our Going Out product  Manage end-to-end development and execution of email campaigns. Includes driving the creative review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, identifying target audience segments and capturing feedback from multiple stakeholders Establish a strong working relationship with xfn stakeholders across Integrated Marketing (PMM), Product, Operations, and Analytics teams Set up and monitor complex journeys, triggers and automations with static and dynamic content Analyze campaign results, develop benchmarks, and create and share regular performance reports We're excited about you because... 4+ years experience in customer retention, email, and/or growth marketing Record of driving business results via cross-channel marketing campaigns Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills Hands on experience with CRM technology including ESPs, segmentation tools, and complex data structures and systems Extremely organized, dependable, self-motivated & ability to multi-task  Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience

 

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Hawaii, Maryland, New Jersey, New York and Washington. $105,400—$155,000 USDAbout DoorDash
