The Implementation Consultant is responsible for the successful installation of new retirement plan sales, acting as the project manager and consultant for conversion activities. The Implementation Consultant will also act as the point of contact with plan sponsors, financial advisors and third-party administrators.
What you will do
Act as the primary contact for Empower to manage the successful installation of standard/non-complex new transfer or start-up retirement plan salesPerform weekly conference calls on assigned sales and consult with various client contacts including plan sponsors, financial advisors, third party administrators, relationship/client service managers, regional sales directors, prior providers, payroll vendors and various internal departments with respect to the timing of conversion, outstanding items, critical tasks and overall project managementDiscuss service agreements, contracts and product features with plan sponsors, financial advisors and third-party administrators for suitability and comprehension of administrative dutiesReview plan provisions with plans electing internal compliance services to ensure accurate restatement of retirement plan documentsCoordinate the integration and mapping of payroll files/methods with the plan sponsor to EmpowerFacilitate the transfer of plan assets and records through written and verbal communication with prior providers, client contacts and various internal departmentsMaintain established internal deadlines and timelines associated with transfer and start-up plan activityProduce quality work on assigned sales through various quality assurance measuresFollow established procedures designed to minimize market risks and gain/loss situationsTransition plans timely from blackout release to the on-going Client Service ManagerWork extended hours and overtime during peak seasons or high volumeWhat you will bring
