Do you have a strong background in investment analysis, risk management, and a deep understanding of retirement planning products? Air Products is seeking a Retirement Investments Analyst who will be responsible for reporting, administration, and investment analysis for the global retirement plans of the Company and the Air Products Foundation.

Reporting to the Director of Retirement Investments, the incumbent's accountabilities will include reviewing, verifying, and interpreting external reports, preparing internal reports, providing analytical support, coordinating contributions, verifying, and paying fees, and serving as the SOX sub-process owner for pensions. The role also requires coordinating activities among various service providers.

Key Job Responsibilities:

Review, verify, and interpret reports prepared by investment advisors and trustees.Support the Director – Retirement Investments in investment strategy, asset allocation, manager oversight, liquidity management, asset-liability management, operations, management reporting, and governance.Participate in periodic meetings and investment reviews with external consultants and portfolio managers.Monitor cash, liquidity, and asset allocation, and make rebalancing recommendations.Update and maintain monthly and quarterly plan asset performance databases and prepare related reports for the Pension Investment Committee.Provide analytical support to the Director – Retirement Investments.Verify and administer investment management and consulting fees, ensuring timely payment.Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Treasury, HR, and Accounting on retirement plan investment operations.Provide annual reporting in support of Technical Accounting for the Company and US retirement plans’ financial statements.Complete SOX testing requirements and provide audit support for Company and Plan audits.Administer the SOX Sub-Process for Pensions, reviewing and evaluating it annually for potential improvements.Handle administration related to the Air Products Foundation investments, including developing periodic reports, paying Foundation expenses, and recording Investment Committee minutes.Undertake other ad hoc Treasury projects as assigned.

Minimum Hiring Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or Accounting with at least 4 years of experience in a financial function or working with pension plans and investments.MBA or CFA preferred.Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with an understanding of capital markets and investment environments.Effective written and verbal communication skills.Expert understanding and application of the MS-Office suite.Ability to work independently.
