Job Description

Manages the design, implementation, and administration of Children's Healthcare of Atlanta's Benefits and Time Off programs to attract, engage, and retain top talent.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years of benefits experience

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of benefits administrationCEBS designationExperience in Workday

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field

Solid understanding of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, ACA, FMLA, and other federal and state regulations governing employee benefits plansHigh level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, and Excel and PowerPointStrong analytical skillsAbility to troubleshoot, recommend and implement solutions from end to endMust possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate with othersAbility to collaborate and work effectively across various levels of the organization

Job Responsibilities

Lead the implementation and administration of the benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans and other voluntary benefits.Manage the Open Enrollment and New Hire enrollment processes.Partner with Human Resources Services Center to ensure a consistent and high-quality customer service experience when employees engage with our benefits and policies.Identify and assess opportunities to enhance our benefits portfolio and processes with a focus on quality that maintain our position as an employer of choice.Serves as the escalation point for complex matters related to benefits.Develops strong internal relationships within HR, Legal, Finance/Payroll, and other teams to deliver a top-notice employee experience.Ensures compliance with all state and federal regulations governing employee benefits plans, including annual audits, IRS regulations, required employee education, and updates to the plan documents.Manage and lead team of Benefits Analysis, including interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, and encouraging ongoing skill development.Facilitate in-person and virtual training and information sessions for benefits including new employee orientation, department meetings, Open Enrollment information sessions, and others as needed.Manage vendor and third-party administrator relationships to ensure accuracy, quality, and utmost customer service and value for employees.
