The opportunity
“You just figure it out.” These five words describe how you approach problems – and hey, maybe how you approach life overall. You analyze a problem, find the best solution, and implement it. Then you iterate, and do again. And we want you to do it with us as a Retirement Plan Analyst as part of our John Hancock HR Pension team.
Here’s the deal: we need your big, beautiful brain to help transform business goals and objectives into tangible next steps like process transformation and requirements documents. The main focus will be completing multiple audits simultaneously along with various other ad hoc projects throughout the co-op term.

Collaborate with other smart people throughout the Company as well as possible state agencies to develop top-notch business processes and requirements…while getting a key project back on track.
Enjoy written communications to produce action.
How will you create impact?
You obsess about customers, listen, engage and act for their benefit.
You think big, with curiosity to discover ways to use your agile approach and enable business outcomes.
You thrive in teams and enjoy getting things done together.
You take ownership and build solutions, focusing on what matters.
You do what is right, work with integrity and speak up.
You share your humanity, helping us build a diverse and inclusive work environment for everyone.

You learn fast. Like “The Flash” fast. You pick up new ideas, concepts, technologies, applications, and tools at warp speed.
You’ve got experience with the MS Office software suite.
You question everything in a way that gets to the root of an issue so you can go do something about it.
