Our retouching team is looking for Retouchers who will be responsible for ready-to-wear and still life retouching and the quality control of image assets for e-commerce. As part of our best-in-class Studio visual production team, they will ensure all retouched images are consistent with the SSENSE style guide and production and productivity targets are met. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented and knowledgeable about fashion and photography.

What you will do: 

Retouch e-commerce images for both ready-to-wear and still life product

Colour correct imagery using the physical product

Utilize optimal retouching approaches to achieve SSENSE art direction and deliver top quality content

Apply retouching techniques to match individual image complexity

Stay up-to-date with SSENSE processes and creative direction

College diploma in Photography, Graphic Design, or related field/experience

1 year experience in commercial retouching

Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop

Knowledge of photography and lighting, an asset

Experience in the fashion industry and/or e-commerce, an asset

Experience working within a Mac environment (Apple)

Solid ability to correctly interpret light, colour, volume, and texture

Strong written and verbal communication skills
