\nWe are hiring Tire Remanufacturing (Retread) Technicians. We offer paid training and a bonus program.
\n
\nA Retread Technician performs functions from inspecting, preparing, and finishing in the remanufacturing of commercial tires in a variety of applications, from package delivery to food service distribution. These technicians are accountable for properly and safely performing a wide variety of services needed for all vehicle/commercial tires.
\n
\nRequirements:
\nA Retread Technician must have the desire to perform above and beyond the requirements set forth in this job description. Adheres to the McCarthy Tire Service policies and standards.\n\n\tHigh School Diploma or GED preferred.\n\tPrevious experience in manufacturing a plus, but we train.\n\tMust be willing to follow all safety procedures and work in a safe manner.\n\tComplying with OSHA regulations and safety requirements.\n\tMust be able to work in a results-oriented, fast-paced environment as part of a team.\n\tMust be goal oriented and able to consistently meet quality and production requirements.\n\tMust possess a mechanical aptitude and energy.\n\tJob Descriptions:\n\nResponsibilities will include but not be limited to:\n\n\n\tInspecting and buffing worn tires for remanufacturing.\n\tApplying a variety of tread designs to tires prepared for remanufacturing.\n\tFinishing of completed product, including the handling and final steps in the remanufacturing process.\n\tQuality control of finished product.\n\tTracking and monitoring data associated with the processing of tires throughout the retread process.\n\tObserving and complying with all safety and liability guidelines and policies.\n\tUsing protective safety equipment to ensure safe operation of machines.\n\tAny other duties requested by management.\n\n
\nSafety Requirements:\n\n\n\tPerform all safety related items as per the Employee Safety Manual\n\tUse all safety related PPE such as gloves, safety glasses while doing any work\n\tLearn and maintain all lifting procedures\n\tLearn and maintain all general housekeeping and ensure daily performance\n\tMust pass the Drug Test and physical.\n\n
\nWeight Requirements:\n\n\n\tLift a minimum of fifty (50) pounds\n\tPerform repeated and repetitive movement consistent within the tire industry\n\n
\nWork Environment:
\nWork environment is typically not climate controlled.
