We are looking for a Retro Installer who will work in existing homes and is responsible for the removal and reinstallation of aluminum and vinyl siding, as well as performing drill and fill insulation work in exterior walls and attics. This role requires expertise in retrofitting and upgrading existing structures for improved energy efficiency and aesthetics.
Responsibilities:
Safely remove existing aluminum or vinyl siding while preserving its integrity for reinstallation.Assess siding condition and recommend repairs or replacements as needed.Reinstall siding following industry best practices and manufacturer guidelines.Drill holes in exterior walls and attics to access and install insulation material.Install insulation, such as blown-in fiberglass or cellulose, to improve energy efficiency and thermal comfort.Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and specifications.Address any deficiencies or issues promptly.Adhere to safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent accidents and exposure to hazardous materials.Follow industry standards and guidelines for safe installation and retrofitting work.Maintain records of materials used and work performed.Complete required paperwork, including job reports and inspection forms.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience in retro installation, particularly in the removal and reinstallation of aluminum and vinyl siding and drill & fill insulation work.Knowledge of insulation materials, tools, and techniques.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Physical fitness and the ability to lift materials and operate relevant equipment.Valid driver's license with the ability to drive large box trucks.
