We are seeking a talented individual to join our Workers Compensation team at Mercer Marsh Benefits. This role will be based in Sydney CBD. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office. The Return to Work Consultant will provide professional outsourced return to work and claims consulting services to Mercer Marsh Benefits clients, focusing on injury management and stakeholder liaison.
We will count on you to:
Perform Outsourced Return to Work Coordinator functions, including triaging and lodgment of new claimsDevelop and maintain return-to-work plans while ensuring regular stakeholder contactDeliver on employer return to work obligations and conduct claims reviewsAdminister preferred injury management software for selected clients and maintain this databaseProduce and format reports, manuals, presentations, and other correspondence or documentsWhat you need to have:
Tertiary qualifications in Applied Science, OH&S, Injury Management, or other relevant fields3+ years of experience in claims management functions at an insurer or employerStrong attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skillsWhat makes you stand out:
