The core responsibility of this role is to take ownership of all customers returns as well as the importing of inventory to ANZ business units. This role is fully accountable for record keeping of returns and all the implications resulting from this documentation as well as any documentation required for timely administration of inventory movements relating to logistics. **Key Accountabilities:** + Coordinating stock disposals and returns. + Manage and coordinate the efficient movement of goods from suppliers to our distribution centers. + Administer the import and export of inventory. + Monitor shipping schedules, track shipments, and ensure timely deliveries to meet operational demands. + Ensure all inbound logistics and returns processes adhere to relevant regulations and compliance standards. + Maintain accurate documentation for shipments and returns. + Collaborate with freight providers to address any issues and continuously improve the supplier performance. + Provide regular updates to the management team on key logistics and returns metrics. + Analyze data related to inbound logistics, returns, and process metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement. + Use analytical insights to make informed recommendations for process enhancements. + Collaborate with customer service teams to address customer inquiries related to inbound shipments and returns. + Work towards enhancing the overall customer experience through efficient logistics processes. + Ensuring accurate and timely receipting, and dispatch of stock to meet revenue recognition deadlines. + Process (and investigate to resolution where required) any non-conformances and inventory discrepancies relating to RA’s, with warehouse and tech team assistance or instruction. + Documentation of processes and procedures as per global trade compliance policy. + Contribute to and implement all company projects and improvement/transformation initiatives. + Controlling and reconciling inward flow of stock while following trade compliance guidelines. + Administrative and operational tasks related to import and export of inventory. + Assist in the management of the day-to-day inventory function, including monitoring, and tracking shipments as well as ongoing system monitoring. + Apply a high level of problem-solving skills. + Conduct all responsibilities with focus and high attention to detail. + And any other task that is required to be completed by the business from time to time. **Measurables:** + Freight Spend Internal + Return Authority open days + Number of open purchase orders arrived but not receipted. + PO dates in the past + Shipments up to date in the ERP system **Key Capabilities/Qualifications/Experience:** + A minimum of 3 years experience in a Purchasing / Procurement + A minimum of 3 years experience working with freight forwarder/logistics broker + Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures. + Solid understanding and experience working with ERP. + Solid experience working with MS Office. + Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge. + Capability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. **We will:** • Provide the will: opportunity to grow and develop your career • Offer an inclusive environment that encourages diverse perspectives and ideas • Deliver challenging and unique opportunities to contribute to the success of a transforming organization • Offer comprehensive benefits globally **(** **P** B Live Well ) Pitney Bowes is an equal opportunity employer that values diversity and inclusiveness in the workplace.
