Be a part of helping others to Live Well! **Job Description** **POSITION SUMMARY:** The Returns Specialist is responsible for reviewing all quality assurance (QA) and Inventory related documentation to ensure a highly accurate perpetual-to-book inventory. This position will oversee and refine QA & Inventory control processes, ensuring that all QA & Inventory procedures and documentation meet the department’s goals. The role also includes key QA responsibilities to maintain high inventory accuracy and to improve operational efficiency. This QA & Inventory Coordinator will collaborate across departments to enhance systems and workflows that support inventory accuracy, system audits, and reporting. **JOB RESPONSIBILITIES** **:** + Develop, implement, and manage robust inventory control procedures and processes to ensure inventory accuracy and minimize discrepancies. + Conduct thorough reviews of inventory-related documentation to ensure alignment with operational and accounting standards. + Report daily cycle counting activities, tracking and resolving discrepancies or issues promptly. + Establish and maintain a strong QA program to monitor inventory processes, ensuring continuous improvement in inventory accuracy and efficiency. + Conduct regular audits of inventory and warehouse processes, reporting any inconsistencies or weaknesses in procedures and suggesting improvements. + Lead and oversee inventory counts, ensuring accurate and timely results and addressing discrepancies as they arise. + Partner with the DC leadership to ensure staff adherence to proper control procedures and to improve inventory accuracy across all operations. + Foster effective communication and collaboration with other departments to optimize the efficient movement of materials throughout the warehouse system. + Monitor and analyze system error reports to identify and resolve any inventory-related system failures. + Research and recommend solutions to optimize inventory management systems, controls, and procedures for greater efficiency and accuracy. + Analyze operating results, identifying areas for improvement and reporting variances from standard operating procedures. + Undertake special projects as assigned to support the continuous improvement of inventory control processes. + Additional duties as assigned **PHYSICAL ASPECTS** **/WORK ENVIRONMENT:** (For all JDs; Adjust as needed based on job requirements) + Regularly required to stand; walk; sit; use hands or fingers tohandle or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; and talk or hear. + Regularly/Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. + Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. + Regularly/Occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold & heat, risk of electrical shock, and toxic or caustic chemicals. + The noise level in the work environment is usually low/moderate. _* Reasonable_ _accommodations_ _may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions._ **QUALIFICATIONS:** (For all JDs; Adjust as needed based on job requirements) + High school diploma or equivalent + 1+ years progressiveexperience in Inventory Control or related field experience preferred. + Experience in quality assurance and process improvement initiatives, especially related to inventory management and warehouse operations preferred. + High degree of proficiency MS Office Suite, Outlook & Internet applications + Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills + Strong verbal and written communication skills (including analysis, interpretation, & reasoning) + Solid understanding and application of mathematical concepts + Ability to develop and maintain collaborative relationships with peers and colleagues across the organization, as well as internal and external clients + Ability to work well autonomously and within a team in a fast-paced and deadline-oriented environment. + Ability to work with and influence peers and senior management + Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines and reporting + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. + Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. + Ability to read, write, and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos + Possess a mechanical aptitude; ability to use a large variety of hand tools and basic knowledge of power tools and forklifts. + Ability to work overtime and holidays as necessary GNC Holdings, LLC is an Equal Opportunity Employer **Benefit Offerings** Benefit Offerings: Medical, Dental, Vision, STD, LTD, Paid Company Life Insurance, 401K program with company match, 30% employee merchandise discount on GNC products & 20% employee discount on 3rd party products, Monthly Free Product Offers, and access to the Employee Assistance Program. **Compensation Benefits** GNC offer a base pay range of $19.50 per hour, with the opportunity to earn additional weekly income through GNC's Individual Supply Chain Incentive Plan. Pay within the range is determined by various factors, including education, work experience, certifications, and federal, state, and local minimum wage regulations.
